Hypervine sucess – part of global project, tracking origins of GHG emissions

Sarah Burns General News

Hypervine, one of the companies currently in our incubator programme, are building on their continuing success.  The company has joined a global collaborative project which aims to track the origins of GHG (greenhouse gases) emissions.  It is well-known how much GHG emissions there are in the atmosphere, but it is more difficult to track the source of where these emissions come from.

The project consists of nine nonprofits, tech companies, and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore to build upon unprecedented technical breakthroughs to actively identify, measure, and trace all significant human-caused GHG emissions to their sources and will include technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), satellite image processing, machine learning, and other remote sensing technologies .
