Scottish Space Incubator Now Taking Applications from Startups

Scotland’s only space-focussed technology startup incubator is now open to applications for its third round of incubation.

The Scottish Space Incubator programme, started in 2016, has successfully helped startup businesses including GSI and Huli develop their business and has set them up for growth.

Financial backing

The programme is jointly sponsored by the UK Space Agency and Scottish Enterprise. This funding has allowed the incubator to attract the highest calibre of businesses and is ready to open the incubator to another 6 businesses from March 2020.

You’re in good company

The incubator is part of a UK Network of space incubators, UK SpIN (Space Incubator Network). It is run jointly with The Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications (SoXSA) and Tontine.

You can see some of the successful alumni who’ve already come through the doors in Scotland, who’ve worked collaboratively to develop their business as part of the programme.

What’s involved?

For a whole year, you are based in the Tontine tech incubator in the city centre of Glasgow. Not only are you provided with excellent office and meeting facilities, you are also surrounded by buzzing entrepreneurs in the incubator willing to share invaluable advice, energy and experience.

SoXSA will provide you with unparalleled support to test and strengthen your space technology, as well as access to a wide business network.
